How Can I Correct My Location?

If you are a feeder that misconfigured your lat/long coordinates when setting up your receiver, then you need to: 
 

  • Reboot your receiver for the wifi connection to be broadcast (only broadcasts from 2 minutes after reboot to 15 minutes, I believe based on the kit instructions)
  • Enter “adsbexchange.local” in a browser which should resolve if the receiver has been rebooted.
  • Click on “Configure Receiver/Location”
  • Enter the correct lat/long coordinates of your receiver (see below), click Verify Coordinates, and click Save & Restart Services at the bottom of the configuration page. 

 


If you are a feeder or map subscriber and the globe.adsbexchange.com is showing you in the wrong location, you need to: 
 

  • Clear browser cookies & cache
  • Launch globe.adsbexchange.com
  • Wait 2 to 3 seconds for the “Know Your Location” prompt to display.
  • Click “Allow”
